What’s CoolSpotters? It’s a new website that presents products that celebrities are using =) It launched just last Wednesday in beta with Pepsi signed on as the exclusive launch sponsor, and Jessica Alba is in there! I just don’t know for sure if Cash Warren is involved here like in iBEATyou.com … Anyway, CoolSpotters.com has pages for products, celebrities, brands, TV shows and movies and connects them to actors, athletes, business icons, musicians and politicians. In Jessica Alba’s page, there are links to pictures of our fave actress wearing Timberland shoes or using a Sidekick 3.

After helping a girl stricken with heart disease, the pregnant Love Guru actress next helped hundreds of pregnant teenager girls. You can view Jessica Alba helping the preggy teens HERE. Anyway, according to reports, our fave actress visited Thomas Riley High School, a special school in the Los Angeles Unified School District dedicated to pregnant teenagers, last Friday (May 2). Jessica Alba talked to and distributed gifts to the nearly 200 girls that attend the school, visiting each classroom. She wore a full length navy blue halter gown that had an empire waist with keyhole appliqué work in white and a white muslin shirt with folded cuffs over it. She wore thong slippers for her comfort and accessorized with large D&G sunglasses, super sized gold hoops and a link chain gold necklace. Jessica Alba showed up at the school on her own accord, with a car load of gifts - baby clothes and other accessories. That’s our girl! =)

Actually, she’s not only angry with our favorite actress but with all the female stars who glamourize stripping and pole dancing through film roles and their antics on nights out. To refresh your memory, Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Alba recently played strippers on film (in I Know Who Killed Me and Sin City respectively) while LiLo and Paris Hilton are frequently spotted pole and lap-dancing while partying til the wee hours of the morning. Christina Ricci ranted recently: “It used to be something that we [women] were sort of ashamed of. You didn’t want to admit to people that you were a stripper. But now, the hottest thing to say is ‘I can work a pole!’”

And that’s according to the men’s magazine, FHM (For Him Magazine), where the pregnant actress was number 1 sexiest last year. So who “defeated” Jessica Alba? None other than the Transformers babe, Megan Fox! Yeah, after one movie, she’s suddenly the world’s sexiest! Isn’t it impressive?? And even though Jessica Alba isn’t number 1, she is at number 2. Still pretty good standing huh?? And she’s pregnant at that! =)

Sure, she may be in every men’s magazine’s “Sexiest Women Alive” lists, but our favorite actress feels she doesn’t deserve this. Though she may have appeared in many raunchy photo shoots and appeared almost naked (in skimpy bikini, nude back, bed scenes) in some films, it’s not an impression of herself that Jessica Alba is entirely comfortable with. And she feels she is definitely more than a pretty face with a gorgeous body. And I, for one, agrees with that! Jessica Alba shares,

“It’s funny when people think that all I’ve done are bikini movies. I did one movie where I was wearing a bathing suit the whole time [Into the Blue]. I was playing a shark wrangler, and the whole movie was scuba diving. That’s what you wear when you’re scuba diving.”

For most guys, I’m betting they would be thinking “sexy actress” but NOW, I’m sure many would think of “preggers and engaged” =) I ask this question coz according to an academic group discussion, when the name “Jessica Alba” was mentioned, the participants thought of “Woman”, “Latina” and “mixed race” first. This, despite the fact that our fave actress shared previously about not being able to speak Spanish and did not really got to know her Latin side very well. And this is not Jessica Alba’s fault okay?? That’s what her parents wanted.

WOW! $9 million is a lot of money especially when you earned it by doing what you love! And in the case of Jessica Alba, that’s acting and making super-fun movies =) The money figures came from the Sunday’s annual “What People Earn” issue of Parade. And if you think Jessica Alba earned big, teen queen Miley Cyrus earned double! Yup, the Hannah Montana star raked in $18.2 million, which of course, is a lot of money for your average 15-year old! Just also ahead of our fave actress in the earnings game is Katherine Heigl with $11 million. And get this, Leona Helmsley’s dog Trouble, earned more than Jessica Alba! LOL!

WOW! Our fave Hollywood actress is certainly moving up the ranks! FHM, Maxim, Cosmo, Seventeen, all the other glossy mags aren’t enough for Jessica Alba anymore. And she’s moving up to luxury magazines! But it won’t be just “money” as the said magazine will also help various charities for kids. That, I think, is the major reason why Jessica Alba agreed to appear in the launch cover of the luxury mag =) According to reports, the Variety Club extended an invitation to become a Footlight Ambassador of Dutton’s (name synonymous to luxury products) children’s charity.

And after their makeovers at an LA salon, Alina Kent and Jessica Alba went on a shopping spree at Juicy Couture (!!!) where they each got special necklaces. Alina describes hers as “a J next to half a golden heart [Jess has the other half]. When you put them together, it says ‘friendship.’ She was like the big sister I’ve always wanted!”
