A few days back, we posted about the charity work that our favorite actress did for pregnant teens needing help. If you remember, Jessica Alba was dressed in a floor-length navy blue dress and a white shirt. The pregnant star looked radiant as she walked in through the front entrance of the school, greeting teachers and members of staff. An onlooker shares, “The girls were clearly thrilled to see her [Jessica Alba]. As soon as they heard her car pull up they were all leaning out of the door, cheering and waving.”

YIKES! Hehe! But don’t get nervous guys, that’s just Mike Myers having a bit of fun. LOL! =) The other night was the ShoWest Convention. And as usual, there were a lot of surprises. And Jessica Alba was the recipient of one, courtesy of Mike Myers. Hehe! The “Austin Powers” actor was in the house to premiere a sneak peek at his new movie “The Love Guru” (out June 20th), and when Jessica Alba (his co-star in the movie) came onstage, he introduced our favorite actress by asserting that he was the “mother of his child”!!! Wahhh! That scored a lot of laughs. And though everybody knew he was joking, Jessica Alba still set the story straight. She said that someone in the media might bypass the fact checking process and print the statement as true. That would mean the tabloids, LOL! Jess wore an all-black ensemble, including a casual dress, cardigan sweater and matching stockings. Classy as usual! =)

You’ve seen her pictures in the City of Lights, now comes the summary of her nearly one week stay in Paris for the Fashion Week. Jessica Alba made her grand arrival in Paris last February 28. As mentioned, our favorite actress is visiting the French city for the fabulous Fashion Week. She is also to be doing promotional duties for her new movie “The Eye”. The next day, Jessica Alba finally encountered the French paparazzi out in the streets as she was going back to her hotel after taping for a French TV show. What’s V-Day? It’s a global movement founded by Eve Ensler in 1998 to end violence against women and girls. She was the tough cookie who wrote the award-winning play The Vagina Monologues =) And for V-Day’s 10th anniversary, Jessica Alba has agreed to perform for “V TO THE TENTH” on April 12 (Saturday) at the New Orleans Arena. The event is a benefit and will raise funds for groups ending violence against women worldwide, and in the Gulf South region.

Oscars host Jon Stewart, in one of his many funny monologues, poked fun of the pregnant actresses present during the Academy Awards night. He said, “Earlier, I mentioned there were two very famous quite pregnant actresses here tonight. Actually, I was incorrect. I’ve become aware that there’s a third. Jessica Alba is pregnant, Cate Blanchett is pregnant and Nicole Kidman is pregnant.” Jessica Alba’s face was flashed onscreen, and our fave actress looked so pretty laughing at Jon’s spiel.

The very pregnant actress was asked by Ryan Seacrest with a very uncomfortable question while on the red carpet last Sunday night. While chatting with him, Jessica Alba refused to reveal exactly when she’s due, but admitted that she’s now in her third trimester (this means the latest she’s due is late May). Then suddenly, Ryan Seacrest got a little bold and asked Jess if she’ll be breastfeeding. Taken aback, our favorite actress replied, “That’s a bit personal! But yes, it’s what’s best for the baby.” Guess Jessica Alba is over her previously reported breastfeeding nightmare! Definitely good for the baby =)

Celebrities, in the bid to get media coverage, walk slowly in the red carpet so that photographers and reporters will get a chance to shoot them nicely and chat with them. But not Jessica Alba.. Observers have noted that our favorite actress only posed briefly on the red carpet before an attendant shooed other celebrities out of the way to get Jess inside Kodak Theater in a hurry. A source explained: “Jessica Alba hadn’t intended to put in a long stint on the red carpet because she was worried if she stood around for ages she’d suffer for it later and that couldn’t be good for the baby. But all the rush was because the baby was pushing on her bladder and she really, really needed to wee.” LOL! Poor Jessica Alba! I can only imagine her discomfort.. Cate Blanchett, another pregnant actress, was so much luckier. Apparently her unborn baby wasn’t feeling the excitement of the Oscar evening. Cate shared, “He’s actually asleep - believe it or not, which bodes well.” Oh well, that’s how it goes when you’re pregnant — you really never know what your baby will be up to! Hehe!
