If you saw our favorite actress’ latest dinner out with Cash Warren (see it HERE), you’d see her wearing a black and almost see-through dress. Jessica Alba often wears dark colored maternity clothes and her outfit in Mr. Chow wasn’t an exception. What was unflattering was that her black dress struggled to contain her ample cleavage and her lack of bra support left little to the imagination. This isn’t the first time that Jessica Alba was caught in public without a bra. She also appeared bra-less in the 2008 Kids’ Choice Awards, wearing again an almost-see through dress. Is going bra-less a Hollywood trend among soon to-be mommies? As I remember, Halle Berry, Christina Aguilera, Nicole Richie always displayed their maternity cleavage. But unlike Jessica Alba, they didn’t wear transparent dresses that show their bosoms oh-so clearly. What do you think of our fave actress’ bra-less outfits? Is it cool or not? Do drop a comment!

According to our favorite actress, she has turned down “slasher” movie roles before, but she considers The Eye to be several notches above that cynical, money-grabbing genre. Jessica Alba reveals, “It was the most interesting female role I’ve ever read. And it’s certainly not your average, typical horror movie. It’s more about a young woman who is faced with things that she really cannot explain, and who fears that she is losing her mind … A lot of horror movies have girls running away from a guy who is torturing them or kidnapping them. There’s always much more a victim stance when it comes to the female character and it usually involves crying and screaming.”

Actually, she’s not only angry with our favorite actress but with all the female stars who glamourize stripping and pole dancing through film roles and their antics on nights out. To refresh your memory, Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Alba recently played strippers on film (in I Know Who Killed Me and Sin City respectively) while LiLo and Paris Hilton are frequently spotted pole and lap-dancing while partying til the wee hours of the morning. Christina Ricci ranted recently: “It used to be something that we [women] were sort of ashamed of. You didn’t want to admit to people that you were a stripper. But now, the hottest thing to say is ‘I can work a pole!’”

But first, let’s greet our favorite actress a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Yup, Jessica Alba just turned 27 today! =) Anyway (to continue), with the release of The Eye in non-US countries, interviews with the pregnant actress have been popping up left and right. Of course, most of Jessica Alba’s interviews focused on the supernatural and horror stuff. She related her first horror movie, and the scary movies she eventually loved. The 27-year old actress shared,
“One of the first movies I ever remember watching was Nightmare On Elm Street – I think I was about four and a half. It gave me nightmares until I was 13. My parents didn’t know, nor did they approve, obviously. I was a sneaky child, I hid behind the couch and watched the whole thing. Later that night, I insisted on sleeping in bed with them; if I was going to be sucked into the bed into some netherworld, I was going to be with them!”

..being a blind violinist in The Eye! According to our favorite actress, she really found it challenging learning to play a violin, a blind one at that. Jessica Alba shares, “First and foremost, I’m an actress, so if I’m playing a violinist no-one’s saying I have to be absolutely note-perfect all day long while we’re filming. Obviously you’re not going to pick up an instrument that complex in so short an amount of time. But I wanted to get it right. I couldn’t have the audience think that I wasn’t playing. I practised so much.”
