And that’s according to the men’s magazine, FHM (For Him Magazine), where the pregnant actress was number 1 sexiest last year. So who “defeated” Jessica Alba? None other than the Transformers babe, Megan Fox! Yeah, after one movie, she’s suddenly the world’s sexiest! Isn’t it impressive?? And even though Jessica Alba isn’t number 1, she is at number 2. Still pretty good standing huh?? And she’s pregnant at that! =)

Sure, she may be in every men’s magazine’s “Sexiest Women Alive” lists, but our favorite actress feels she doesn’t deserve this. Though she may have appeared in many raunchy photo shoots and appeared almost naked (in skimpy bikini, nude back, bed scenes) in some films, it’s not an impression of herself that Jessica Alba is entirely comfortable with. And she feels she is definitely more than a pretty face with a gorgeous body. And I, for one, agrees with that! Jessica Alba shares,

“It’s funny when people think that all I’ve done are bikini movies. I did one movie where I was wearing a bathing suit the whole time [Into the Blue]. I was playing a shark wrangler, and the whole movie was scuba diving. That’s what you wear when you’re scuba diving.”

Most of our fave actress’ movies definitely show off her body — think Into The Blue, Sin City, Fantastic Four, etc. But if you noticed recently, Jessica Alba has been veering towards drama and supernatural — think The Eye, Awake, Meet Bill. If I may say so, it seems that she enjoys having more challenging roles =) And now that she’s going into motherhood, Jessica Alba’s days of being simply regarded as a pin-up are over. The pregnant actress explains, “I think just being older I’ll be able to play more mature roles. And being a mother definitely helps but yeah, I’m looking forward to my 30s.”

For real?? Well, that’s what E! Online reports =) Weeks ago, the wife of Jessica Alba’s manager gave her a baby shower at Los Angeles with 30+ of her family and celebrity friends (Rashida Jones, Jamie King and Kim Kardashian). But according to E!’s source, our fave actress held a second baby shower this weekend to celebrate her family values. The source revealed, “The first one was thrown by her friends, but her [Jessica Alba] mom wanted to throw something more intimate for the family. She is from Pomona so this is for her family in 909.”

Meet Bill what?? That’s Jessica Alba’s “independent film” shown at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival. We already posted the movie’s synopsis HERE (go click!) months ago. Anyway, after being shown in the festival, we haven’t heard about the film until now. A review of Meet Bill finally made its way to the internet and of course, Jessica Alba’s performance was also critiqued. Here’s what the film reviewer has to say about Meet Bill:

Many comedies feature an underdog tenaciously struggling against hardship. There’s something innately appealing about a persistent little guy with the confidence to keep trying. Meet Bill misfires on multiple levels, but its foremost mistake is focusing on a sad-sack underachiever… Cast against type, Aaron Eckhart plays Bill as a cringing milksop, ample gut waterfalling over his waistband, lank hair straggling lifelessly across his brow. Eckhart does big, blinky double-takes… Jessica Alba smiles and widens her glassy eyes at whatever actor is placed before her, exactly as she has done in every other role.

Now that the pregnant actress is close to her delivery date (nearly 2 months to go!), she’s quite strict with her diet. So in between nesting and decorating Honor’s nursery, Jessica Alba is also keeping an eye on her pre-natal diet. She says, “I have to make sure that I’m eating more of the right nutrients and vitamins, but I’m not used to eating this much.” Obviously! Hehe! Given the gorgeous pre-pregnancy body she has, I’m sure Jessica Alba has a very limited diet.
