Did you know that it’s not the first time our favorite actress filmed in Vancouver, Canada? We all know that Jessica Alba is doing a reshoot of The Eye in Vancouver but it seems that the sexy star has been in this part of the world several times already. She filmed the two Fantastic Four movies here, as well as her upcoming movie, the romantic comedy Good Luck, Chuck. Even her breakout series, Dark Angel, was shot in Vancouver especially the early episodes.

Anyway, the stunning Jessica was seen working on location at Thurlow and Melville Streets recently where she was captured by camera. The hot photos we saw (the ones with her in purple dress) was a scene where Jess’ blind character sticks out a hand just in time to save a young skateboarder from being hit by a bus. Cool huh? The blind leading the seeing, lol! She was later spotted with her “blind” glasses and a yellow coat while shooting a different scene in the same area. No photos are available of this scene so far. Can’t wait for the paparazzi shots! Anything just to have our daily “Jessica Alba” fix! =)

As we earlier posted, Jessica Alba will be having a reshoot of her first supernatural movie The Eye in Vancouver, Canada on August 9. And the reshoot has begun! Pictures of Jessica while filming the said movie flooded the internet just now, giving us a glimpse of our favorite actress playing a blind woman. As usual, the Good Luck, Chuck star looks fabulous even while using a blind person’s cane. LOL! See the post before this so you’ll see for yourself how gorgeous Jessica is =)

The reshoots will not be making any drastic changes to the movie; as reported, there will just be a few additional short scenes to intensify the paranormal features of the plot. In other words, to make it more frightening for us, hehe! Vancouver was chosen as the place for the reshoot because of its similarity to Albuquerque, the original site of the movie’s shooting. And we’re sure Jessica’s fans in Vancouver are going crazy seeing their favorite icon! Tsk, we’re very jealous! When, oh, when will the stunning Jessica drop by our town?? Nope, it’s not Good Luck, Chuck or The Eye. It’s entitled “Bill” and it is currently “in production” according to IMDB. Jessica Alba plays “Lucy” opposite Aaron Eckhart’s “Bill” (the title role) and Timothy Olyphant’s Chip. This is another comedy movie for Jess with a bit of drama mixed in. The plot revolves around a guy fed up with his job. He is married to a cheating wife, and reluctantly mentors a rebellious teen. Other co-star is Kristen Wiig who is celebrated for her scene-stealing role in the comedy “Knocked Up” and for hosting “Saturday Night Love”. Jess is certainly surrounded with a lot of talent huh??

On other Jessica Alba news, she hasn’t commented yet on the supposed “herpes” she got from Derek Jeter. She also hasn’t confirmed her last lunch quickie with ex, Cash Warren. Where are you Jess? Or even just your rep would be welcome to comment on the recent tabloid rumors about your personal life.

Ashley who? What, you don’t know her?? Let’s just say she’s just the star of the hottest Disney program ever! Still doesn’t ring a bell? Sigh.. We’re talking about “High School Musical” and the worldwide phenomenon it spawned! Yes, she’s the lead star there and guess who she adores? Our favorite actress, the fantastic Jessica Alba! Ashley, the 22-year old effervescent blond, was interviewed by Us Weekly and she relates that like most men and women around the world, she just loves Jessica’s body. Ashley declares “I think that Jessica Alba has the most amazing body.” Well-said gurl! We think so too!

Ashley further shares that Jessica “has been a really big role model for me. I’m not into clubbing or partying like that. I don’t want my career to become about what I am doing. It’s more about my work. That is all that matters to me.” Oh well, maybe she didn’t hear of Jessica’s recent clubbing in Les Deux and Hyde. But still, you gotta give the gurl credit, she certainly picked the right celebrity role model! Right guys? =)

Last quickie LUNCH that is! What were you thinking huh?? Anyway according to Us Weekly Magazine, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, the recently separated celebrity couple met up for their last lunch together last July 27. Obviously not to get back together but to “say those final things that needed to be said”. According to a pal of Jessica, “She’s definitely enjoying being single right now.” And we’re sure single men who go clubbing at Les Deux and Hyde (where Jessica was seen last weekend) are loving it too! Who wouldn’t when there’s a chance you can mingle with FHM’s sexiest woman?

Anyway, our favorite actress is back on the playing field and she’s not shy about it. “I just wanted to see what it was like to be with different people,” she told Cosmo last 2005. Jessica further reveals that “I could have a one-night stand, and I’m the kind of girl who looks over in the morning and is like, ‘Do you really have to be here?’ I don’t need to cuddle and do all that stuff because I know what it is and I don’t try to make it more.” Wow! She’s really every guy’s dreamgirl! LOL! Fortunate for those who encountered her… and for those who will encounter her in the near future. Good luck guys! Hehe!

Yeah, it’s so ugly that we wouldn’t even print the H-word in the title! What H-word?? Anyway, this ugly rumor is courtesy of the gossip site L.A. Rag Mag. One of their spokesperson appeared on The Adam Carolla Show and aired Jessica Alba’s dirty laundry on national TV. According to them, Derek Jeter (New York Yankee captain and super serial dater) gave the stunning Jessica HERPES before her break out in Hollywood! Ughh! As we warned, it’s ugly news! Apparently their source worked for Cash Warren, Jessica’s most recent ex, and had to refill her Valtrex prescription for her on a regular basis. Now what is Valtrex? If you don’t know then you must not have used it; good for you! LOL! But if you wanna know, google it and you’d be surprised with the results. Anyway, how come they connected the Valtrex to herpes? And the herpes to Derek Jeter? Sigh.. People always jump to conclusions don’t they? We really feel sorry for Jessica Alba. Just because she doesn’t have any scandal, people who are out to get her, are making hideous things up. Please Jess, speak up and clear your name!

Our stunning favorite actress is certainly on a roll! Just this year she had 2 movies already released (Fantastic Four 2 and The Ten), with 2 more coming later this year (Good Luck, Chuck and Awake). Next year, Jessica Alba’s first supernatural movie will be screened on February 2008. And now we’re hearing she’s got another film due for a June 2008 release, with none other than the hilarious Mike Myers! My my, our darling star has been very busy. Perhaps to forget Cash Warren?

The said movie is entitled Love Guru with Mr. Myers playing the title role. Other stars include Romany Malco (Blades of Glory) and Verne Troyer (Mini-Me in the three “Austin Powers” films). Jessica will play as a hockey team owner. Hmm, that is certainly new for her! Anyway, the story is about Pitka (Myers), an American who was left at an ashram in India when he was a child and raised by gurus. He moves back to the U.S. and tries to settle a rift between a hockey player (Malco) and his wife, who’s starting to flirt with the star player of a rival team. The love guru’s job is to stop the budding infidelity and reunite the couple so that Malco can lead his team to the championship, as per the strong advice of Jessica (team owner) and Troyer (team coach). Sounds interesting enough! But can Jessica pull off a Myers-inspired comedy? What do you think?

No, we’re not talking about Good Luck, Chuck. Or even the critics-reviled The Ten. We’re talking about AWAKE which is about a patient’s experience undergoing surgery while awake. Imagine that?? Apparently, even though anesthesia was given, the patient (played by Star Wars’ Hayden Christensen) remained conscious throughout his heart surgery which resulted to psychological trauma. Jessica Alba plays Hayden’s wife who is affected by her husband’s change after the procedure.

According to AHN, “The movie’s premise is about intraoperative awareness where a patient, given a general anesthetic, is supposed to be totally unconscious but in fact is awake and totally paralyzed during a surgical procedure.” That sounds so distressing! Not to mention you’d hear the “dirty talk” of the surgeons! Ugh!

Jessica’s new movie is deemed controversial because it already happened to several patients in the US and Canada. One patient, Carol Weihrer, underwent eye surgery and was aware throughout the entire procedure. As a result of her traumatic experience, she created the Anesthesia Awareness Campaign to bring attention to this horrifying phenomenon. Carol hopes that AWAKE will help bring international attention to her campaign. Hope you did great in this movie Jess, it’s for a “good cause” after all!
