Jessica Alba’s relationship with her parents, Mark and Catherine, has been the stuff of tabloids years ago. It was all because of Jessica’s engagement to her Dark Angel co-star Michael Weatherly which her parents disapproved of. It was the classic “love on the set” story, the co-stars falling in love while shooting their scifi series. The problem with her parents? Our darling actress was just 20 years old! And to top it all, the actor was 12 years her senior! In fairness to them, their relationship lasted longer than the scifi series. They even dated for four years before breaking up and moving on.

Jessica now says: “I don’t know (why I got engaged)… He was 12 years older than me. I thought he knew better. My parents weren’t happy. They’re really religious. They believe God wouldn’t allow The Bible to be written if it wasn’t what they are supposed to be believed. I’m completely different.” Hmm, what do you think her parents would say NOW if she got engaged to her current squeeze Cash Warren?

Jessica played the uber-sexy exotic dancer Nancy Callahan in Sin City. Perhaps to fend off dirty stares? Ha!

Magazine, who conducted the Top 10 Female Breadwinners countdown, Jessica was the youngest star on the list. DOUBLE WOW! Our favorite actress is certainly very hard-working huh? It’s so refreshing to see someone as young as Jessica who works hard to earn her keep. But then, thinking about it, she has only few movies so could that mean she’s highly paid in her roles?? If that’s the case, then she’s really in Hollywood’s big leagues now! Or maybe Jessica’s not like other young celebrities who squander their money left and right with useless shopping and endless parties. Thus, she has a bigger net worth than them. Hmmm, sounds very intriguing!

Other stars in the top 10 are Oprah Winfrey (who topped the list with a $1.5billion net worth!!!), Sandra Bullock, Madonna, Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman. Christina Aguilera and Halle Berry are also included in the list.

We all know that the name Jessica Alba has become synonymous with “hot, sexy actress” but if you think about it, she didn’t really made movies that showed a lot of skin unnecessarily. Right?? Well, in her upcoming film Good Luck Chuck (with comedian Dane Cook), she still doesn’t show a lot of skin BUT, yes there’s a big but (pun intended), you get to see her in lace panties! That sounds good huh?? Maybe she’s gonna be the next Victoria’s Secret model after this movie! She would certainly bring a lot of male customers into the VS stores, hehe!

Anyway Good Luck Chuck is about a handsome, self-involved dentist named Chuck (Cook) who discovers that every woman he goes out with meets her soul mate immediately after dating him. The word gets out and women are lined up to have sex with Chuck. Now that’s a whooping WOW! But, again there’s a but, this “blessing” turns into a curse when he meets his own true love (Alba). Oh well, you really can’t have it all! The new uncensored trailer of the movie is just like the original BUT you get to see Alba in panties (sexy blue lace and another with short white ones with a penguin on the crotch), and comic sidekick Dan Fogler (“School for Scoundrels”) doing something rather nasty with a piece of fruit. They were among the celebrities who attended a ballet at La Scala in memory of the famous designer Gianni Versace, who was murdered 10 years ago. “Thank you, Gianni, With Love,” performed Sunday night, was the highlight of a series of events marking the anniversary of the Italian designer’s death. Versace’s sexy and daring clothes made him a favorite among rockers, Hollywood stars and other celebrities. Wanna bet Jessica is one of those who loved his daring clothes?? Just this July, our favorite sultry actress, Jessica Alba, won as FHM’s Sexiest Woman of the Year (2007) after tabulating more than a million votes from all over the world. Truly, Jessica’s beauty has worldwide appeal. And now, Jessica has been voted top 2 of the ‘Hottest Celebrity In The World’ poll conducted by E-Poll with 3000 celebrities to choose from. She got a whooping 64% while the top 1 got 65% of the US population vote. A very close contest huh? The 40-year old pregnant Salma Hayek was the top 1 and deemed sexier than some of young Hollywood’s leading actresses. Jessica had to share her place on the list with former Baywatch babe Carmen Electra who also took in 64% of the votes. They were followed and Shakira in fourth place with 63% of the votes, reports Contactmusic. Coming in at fifth place with 59% were three Hollywood black beauties - Halle Berry, Beyonce Knowles and Eva Longoria. The poll showed that despite Hollywood’s obsession with everything young, older stars were still deemed to be the hottest, with the average age of the top 15 actresses being 36. That’s very refreshing to hear! And to Jessica, our warm congratulations! Keep it up girl!

The stunning Jessica Alba (a.k.a. Sue Storm in Fantastic Four) has been criss-crossing Europe the past few days for the promotion of her summer blockbuster movie Fantastic Four. She was first spotted eating lunch in Florence, Italy with an unknown male companion (paging Cash Warren!) and doing a bit of sightseeing. Man, she’s so just like a regular tourist person, taking photos and visiting art galleries!

After Florence, she went on to Paris, France where she signed autographs happily. She even went out of her way to personally say hi to a fan in wheelchair! She’s such a good-hearted person despite being a very famous celebrity.

After Paris, our glamorous celeb went to Madrid, Spain looking very sexy in a cleavage-baring outfit. It’s funny that the sexy blouse has a design akin to an arrow pointing to her bust area! The beautiful Jessica Alba has made it no secret over the past years that Hollywood is simply her home away from home, and that New York is truly where her lovely heart belongs. With this fact in our minds, it comes to no surprise that the Fantastic Four sexy actress is looking for a house in New York City. A friend of Alba’s has divulged that Jessica and her longtime beau, Cash Warren, have been looking at luxury apartments in Chelsea, SoHo and the West Village during the past six months. Jessica has seemingly been planning to move to the Big Apple for some time now. Last year, she claimed she was planning to quit Hollywood and move to the city so she could star in more independent films and spend more time with Cash.

The addition of a posh pad on the east coast is a perfect fit for Alba. Numerous times throughout the year, she takes trips back to the Big Apple to work on movie sets, or just spend a couple of days shopping and relaxing with her girlfriends. A friend of Jessica’s told the New York Daily News newspaper, “They love visiting New York and have decided to have a second home here. Jessica wants to have a cozy place to stay, since she finds herself working and shopping in New York all the time.”

That was then, and now? It seems that what she claimed is turning out to be true! The proof? The beautiful and very much in love couple has been seen house-hunting in upscale areas of New York.  They were spotted looking over properties in the city’s most desirable areas, including Chelsea, SoHo and the West Village. My question is, can’t she not move in New York with Warren and still continue acting in Hollywood? Apparently not. As she said one time, “It’s something I have been considering. Just being an actress and being in a relationship is tough - I don’t recommend it.” There you go, another lovestruck actress bites the (love) dust!
