Alina Kent was the lil sick girl that our fave Hollywood actress took shopping as we previously posted HERE. And as to why the cute kid chose Jessica Alba (among the thousands of celebrities), you can read about it HERE =) Anyway, Alina and the pregnant actress met up at LA’s Estilo Salon after the lil girl and her mom arrived in California. Alina shared, “I was so excited when I first saw her, I was jumping up and down all over the place.” LOL! Sounds like your typical starstruck kid eh?? Hehe!

Alina Kent who?? Remember our post (read it HERE) about the sick girl that our fave actress took shopping? That’s Alina Kent, a 9-year-old kid from Stockbridge, Ga. who is suffering from mitral valve regurgitation, a heart problem. Last summer, Alina’s mom contacted Kids Wish Network, a charitable organization that grants sick kids’ greatest wishes. And for little Alina, who wants to be an actress, that meant getting the chance to meet her idol, Jessica Alba. And eight months later, her fondest wish came true!

We often see our favorite actress exercising and we were surprised when Jessica Alba continued to do so even when she became pregnant with her first child. Though it has always been stressed on how exercising while pregnant makes it easier for the mom to get back to her pre-baby weight, new research says it’s also good for the baby =) Guess Jessica Alba knew that hence her very strict exercise regimen. Here are details from Dr. Linda E. May of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences:
“When the mom exercises during pregnancy, the unborn baby gets the same type of training effect that you would see in an adult — so you see the lower heart rate and also improved heart rate variability, which is evidence of improvements in the nervous system of the heart. Maternal exercise may be the earliest intervention to improve the heart of children and possibly the best.”
WOW! So, to all you mothers and moms-to-be out there, do a Jessica Alba! Exercise for yourself, and most importantly, do it for your upcoming baby =)

She isn’t the top 1 but who cares? At least our fave actress didn’t end up in the worst dressed list, hehe! So if Jessica Alba isn’t the best dressed, who is? None other than Kate Moss, the supermodel cokehead who has gone to rehab. The Kate beat actresses Sienna Miller and Scarlett Johansson in the annual poll by Britain’s Glamour magazine, which will published in the May edition. The 34-year-old model topped the poll for three consecutive years before losing in 2007 to Kylie Minogue, who slipped to 19th place this year.

Gosh, this is the fourth post we have about our fave actress’ recent baby shower already! And we still can’t promise it will be the last. Hehe! According to E! News, guests began trickling in at 1 pm, and Jessica Alba made her entrance at exactly 1:30. She was hustled in via a side entrance to avoid the hordes of paparazzi. The baby shower took place outside under white umbrellas where lavender and white dominated the decor. The soundtrack was on the mellow side, featuring Buena Vista Social Club, Sade and light jazz. I wonder if Jessica Alba chose the music herself.

In a typical, ordinary baby shower, it is usually the expectant mother who will receive wondrous gifts. But, Jessica Alba, being the kind-hearted soul that she is also gave away gifts to her well-wishers in her recently concluded baby shower. Yeah, she’s really nice isn’t she?? =) According to reports, the pregnant actress made sure she wasn’t the only one walking away with gifts in the event. Jessica Alba gave every one of her well-wishers a goody bag provided by organic baby food company Tastybaby. The bag contents included recipe books and children’s toys. CUTE!! As for the gifts she received, tabloids reports that our fave actress got loads of baby gifts from her friends and family, which included a cradle, a basket of Dr. Seuss books, clothing and flowers =) The intimate baby shower took place at the Ever After Tea House, with guests that included Jessica Alba’s sister, Jaime King, Rashida Jones and Kim Kardashian.

Yesterday, we confirmed that the pregnant Hollywood actress indeed had her first baby shower in Studio City. Today, we’ll give you the lowdown on what Jessica Alba and her posse ate at the Ever After Tea House in Studio City, California last Sunday (April 6) afternoon =) To begin with, E! reports that our fave actress and her well-wishers had “white wine, lemonade, iced tea and coffee and an assortment of ice cream drinks; skewers of tiger shrimp and soft-pulled chicken; and for dessert, white and dark chocolate-dipped strawberries, mini donut varietals, mini custard tarts and mini eclairs.” Mmmm, so yummy!!! Jessica Alba’s manager’s wife really knows how to pick the right food stuff huh?? =) Tiger shrimp and eclairs?? Simply too good to pass up! The sad news is, only 35 people were there to savor the yummy food in Jessica Alba’s baby shower. Us, definitely not included, though we sorely wish so! Hehe!

As previously posted, our fave Hollywood actress was set to have a baby shower early this month to be given by her manager’s wife. And wallah! Jessica Alba did have a baby shower this weekend (specifically on Sunday afternoon, April 6) with around 35 friends and family members at the Ever After Teahouse in Studio City, California =)
